Today we are celebrating a milestone for our family. All the babies will officially be in full time school next year.

That means full days during the week for me and full availability for sessions. Woot woot!

If you're new here;
Hi! I'm Kendra, the sole photographer and editor at Kendra Paige. I specialize in studio photography and fine art editing. About 85% of my sessions are babies and kids.

I'm located in Airdrie, Alberta, just 10 short minutes from the city of Calgary. I have 3 kids starting in kindergarten up to middle school. You will see them on my page often because I force them to be my subjects all the time.

Here are a few random things about me:
- I'm 44 years young
- I was born and raised in Alberta
- I love green and purple
- I have 1 dog, she is the bestest ever
- I'm digging fairycore hard right now
- I used to snowboard in the Rocky Mountains 2-3 times per week
- I'm totally obsessed with art history and fashion history.
- I have Celiac disease

One advantage of having my studio in my home is that I can take pictures of my loved ones over the course of a few days. Also, I can wear my jammies. 😁

My boys wanted wings for their pictures. 🥰 My eldest son asked me, "Are there boy fairies mom?" And I said absolutely!

I read a quote the other day that said, "A big sister is your first friends and second mother".

This wasn't really true for myself, as my sister and I were more like mortal enemies for a large part of our childhood, and then we became friends and equals later in life. But I see in my children how the oldest is somewhat like a mentor and cautionary tale for the younger two.

What was true for you and your siblings, or for your own children?

Kendra Paige both acknowledges and pays tribute to the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6) and Airdrie Rockyview Métis District 4.
